The procedure
A skin peel makes use of a chemical solution to peel away the top layer of your skin, and takes approximately 1 hour for isolated areas, and 2 hours for your full face.
A topical anaesthetic is used for the procedure, or alternatively sedation combined with local anaesthesia. When sedation is given frequently, EKG monitoring is used.
