Give your breasts a naturally enhanced feminine fullness, using fat from your other areas of your body. During this procedure fat is removed by liposuction and injected into your breasts to create the shape and size you desire. This procedure offers the added benefit of sculpting the areas of the body that the fat is removed from.
Where a more marked increase in size is required this can be facilitated by augmenting with breast implants made of silicone gel. These implants are placed either behind the breast tissue, or under the muscles of the chest wall, and gave a more natural feel than saline implants. (Saline implants are rarely used in South Africa or Europe.) Silicone implants are designed with your safety in mind, and do not increase the risk of cancer.
Procedure and aftercare
Breast augmentation is commonly done under general anaesthesia and lasts between 45 minutes and 90 minutes. The recovery time from the surgery is 4 to 7 days, and you may resume strenuous activity after 4 weeks.
If you are considering breast augmentation with body fat, you should keep in mind that it requires that you have enough body fat to distribute the breasts. In addition, you should be aware some of the fat may be resorbed by the body, and that some of the increased breast volume may be lost initially. This means you may require one or two additional sessions, to obtain the optimum results.
Possible side effects and compilations
Possible complications include the formation of cysts, and the necrosis of fat, the latter of which occurs when some of the injected fat dies, resulting in inflammation and pain and the possible breakdown of tissue.
An unwanted cosmetic appearance may result from the introduction of too much or too little fat.
